Torres (トーレス, Tōresu^?) is the newest member of the Order, a group of the strongest assassins in the JAA. He was recruited alongside Tanabata, after the incident at the Assassin Exhibition of the Century and the losses of Hyo and Takamura.

Appearance

Torres appears to be an old-aged man of average height and build with disheveled white hair, thick eyebrows, a beard and sunken black eyes. He wears a white shirt under a trench coat, as well black pants and shoes.

Personality

Torres comes off as an egotistical and greedy gambling-addict man, as shown when he ends up amassing a debt of ¥60.2 billion yen to the JAA. He also seems to have a lack of shame, asking Shishiba, whom he just met, for 20 million yen and wants Sakamoto to rise his bounty by killing his helpers

He seems to have little regard for rules, suggesting the Order should kidnap Sakamoto's wife Aoi to find him faster, despite targeting civilians being against JAA policy.

History

JAA Jail Arc

Oki brings Shishiba, Osaragi and Kamihate to a pachinko shop and slots parlor where he introduces the new members of the Order, Torres, playing at a slot machine where he has been gambling for hours. Oki asks Torres about joining the Order and he accepts, having no other option because of the massive debt he owes the JAA. Fed up, Shishiba turns to leave but Torres asks him to lend some money. In response, Shishiba quickly swings his hammer to Torres' nape but finds it chipped away on impact. With that, Shishiba reluctantly accepts Torres as a part of the Order.

Skills & Abilities

Overall Skill Level: Torres is a member of the Order and one of the strongest assassins in the JAA. Before his recruitment, he was already a powerful assassin in the underworld for over 50 years.

Enhanced Durability: Torres, after being thrown off a train cart by Sakamoto, survived crashing on top a car as he appeared barely hurt by the fall.

Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: Torres, after angering Shishiba, was struck on the neck by the latter's hammer, but the hammer was broken, specifically chipped away by one of his sandblasters in an instant and was able to catch Sakamoto's gaze with relative ease.

Equipment

Torres' dual sandblasters.

Sandblasters: Torres carries dual sandblasters, as he is unable to afford a gun because of his financial issues caused by his gambling addiction. They are powerful enough to damage the hardest metals and can crush objects into dust. He hides these sandblasters underneath his trench coat.

Trivia

• The word Torres means "Towers" in Spanish, which possibly indicate that Torres is from a Spanish-speaking or Latin-based country. This would make him the only foreigner within Order.
• He has defeated slim Sakamoto five times while holding back.
