Taro Sakamoto, Yoichi Nagumo and Rion Akao vs. Higuchi and Kobayashi is a battle fought by JCC students Taro Sakamoto, Yoichi Nagumo and Rion Akao against Higuchi and Kobayashi.
Prologue[]
The trio of students, along with Kei Uzuki and Kindaka, find themselves in a car escorting the daughter and wife of the JAA Chairman.
Battle[]
After a bit of driving, another car overtakes them, revealing Higuchi and Kobayashi inside. Suddenly, Higuchi throws a hand grenade onto the road, slides beneath their cars, and activates it, intending to cause an explosion. However, Sakamoto pierces the car floor with his hand, grabs the grenade, shoots with his pistol into a nearby manhole, and throws the grenade inside. Higuchi notices Sakamoto's action and quickly equips a pair of reinforced iron arms before opening the car door and sliding out. He jumps at them, smashing through the car's front glass with a punch, surprising Nagumo. Despite this, Nagumo manages to grab Ai Amo and pull her aside. Still inside the car, Higuchi extracts a hand cannon from his reinforced arm and shoots, causing the car to explode. This creates an opportunity for him to grab both Ai and her mother. He jumps out of the car, holding both of them, while the others slide on the road, propelled back by the explosion. As Higuchi looks away, convinced he has successfully killed all the students, he suddenly finds himself stabbed on the side by Ai's mother, Konomi, who reveals herself to be Nagumo disguised as Konomi. Nagumo then grabs Ai and lands on top of a van, safely placing her down However, Kobayashi suddenly interrupts them by releasing poison gas from his mouth, engulfing both Nagumo and Ai.

While Nagumo is distracted covering Ai's mouth to protect her from the gas, Higuchi seizes the opportunity to strike. With an outstretched arm, he hits Nagumo, propelling both him and Ai through the window of a van. They land in the back seats, the van being driven by Kobayashi who threatens Nagumo to not stand up or he will fill the veichle with poisoned gas, killing both of them.
Nagumo responds by revealing they are being tailed, as Sakamoto and Rion are seen driving a motorcycle to pursue them. In response, Kobayashi throws an explosive out of the car window, causing the car in front of them to flip and nearly crash into them. However, Sakamoto evades by leaping off the motorcycle, entering the car through one of its doors, crouching down, and exiting through the other door. Meanwhile, Rion avoids the explosion by maneuvering the motorcycle, folding it onto the road. She then lights her cigarette using the sparks created by the motorcycle mirror scraping against the road.
Sakamoto utilizes his previous leap to grab a stop sign and leap into Kobayashi's van from behind, piercing through the roof with the sign's handle. However, Kobayashi manages to evade him, exiting the van and creating an opening for Higuchi to attack Sakamoto from behind with his reinforced iron arm. Just as Higuchi is about to strike, Rion intervenes, skidding with her motorcycle and using its back wheel to hit Higuchi. She then drags him through the windows of a passing public bus before sending him crashing meters away, allowing her to escape.
As the students manages to reach the bridge, close to completing their escort of both Ai and Konomi Amo, Higuchi intervenes by firing a sniper rifle at their car from a bridge beam. However, he misses, and his attack is countered by the gunfire of both Nagumo and Sakamoto. In response, Higuchi activates a device, causing the middle part of the bridge to explode, engulfing the area in smoke and fire. Rion accelerates the car, driving straight through the chaos, and manages to stop safely on the other side before the bridge collapses. Meanwhile, Kindaka utilizes his immense speed to reach the other side, taking Ai with him. Sakamoto follows suit, leaping into the void with his motorcycle and navigating through the smoke, utilizing a steel cable of the falling bridge to land on the other side of the bridge.
Despite his annoyance, Higuchi quickly follows them, only to be surprised by Sakamoto, who delivers a powerful downward punch to his head from behind, further irritating him. In retaliation, Higuchi leaps into the air, aiming another punch at Sakamoto, but misses and crashes into the ground, causing it to crack. Meanwhile, Rion, Nagumo, Kindaka, and Uzuki successfully enter the tunnel along with both Ai and her mother. However, their progress is halted when a piece of the tunnel's roof suddenly explodes, revealing Kobayashi. Rion swiftly attacks him, slicing his shoulder with her knife. To her shock, she finds herself on the ground, blood pouring from her mouth, as Kobayashi reveals that the tunnel is filled with his poison gas.

Higuchi confidently informs Sakamoto that Kobayashi's poison is highly lethal, particularly effective against tough targets like Rion. But suddenly, Sakamoto brutally interrupts the confrontation by landing a devastating punch on Higuchi's gut. Higuchi coughs up blood and his reinforced iron arms collapses as he gets thrown him against the railing in shambles, causing his weapons and equipment to scatter in disarray. As Sakamoto rushes towards his friends, Higuchi desperately tries to grab hold of his leg to stop him. In response, Sakamoto improvises, tearing a couple of metal wires from the bridge and using them to pull a nearby car towards himself. Sakamoto hurls the car at Higuchi, the veichle slamming into him and ending his life once and for all. Meanwhile, Kobayashi interjects, stating that his poison typically kills within ten minutes and that he alone possesses the antidote. As he speaks, he retrieves a rifle and fires at both Rion and Nagumo, who quickly seek cover behind a car. However, much to their surprise, the poison manages to reach them once again, along with Kindaka, causing them to cough up blood once more.

While Kobayashi speaks, Nagumo begins to ponder a solution to the poison's effects. He quickly notices that all the rats in the tunnel have died, prompting him to grab Rion's shirt to prevent her from moving and revealing that he has found a solution. To Kobayashi's surprise, Nagumo explains that the more active a person is, the faster the poison acts. Kindaka adds that the faster one moves, the quicker the poison spreads in the body, irritating Kobayashi, who responds by firing his rifle.
Meanwhile, Uzuki becomes lost in thought, realizing even the heartbeats count. He swiftly proceeds to knock out both Ai and her mother to prevent them from being infected by the poison. In the heat of the action, Rion notices a wheelchair nearby. She quickly decides to use it, sitting in it and prompting Nagumo to throw a grenade underneath its seat. The explosion propels her towards Kobayashi, where she attempts to stab him with her knife. However, he swiftly blocks her attack with his rifle, confidently facing her. Undeterred, Rion surprises him by stabbing him with her knife, revealing that she used the recoil of her gun as propulsion while maintaining a relaxed posture to resist the poison's effects. Rion follows up with a rapid barrage of knife stabs, forcing Kobayashi to retreat. In response, she throws her knife, and when he blocks it with his rifle, she uses her own gun to shoot at the rifle, slicing Kobayashi's neck and leaving him vulnerable.
However, she then realizes that she has run out of bullets but Nagumo takes over the attack, firing his gun at Kobayashi. Kobayashi dodges the shots, expressing surprise at Nagumo's ability to resist the poison for so long. He then notices Rion's calm demeanor, smoking a cigarette, and wonders at her composure. Suddenly, his thoughts are interrupted by a hand piercing through the floor, forcefully dragging him downward. It's revealed to be Sakamoto, who has managed to defeat Higuchi. Sakamoto swiftly leaps at Kobayashi, but the poison immediately immobilizes him, allowing Kobayashi to stab him with a knife. However, to everyone's surprise, Sakamoto remains unfazed by the stab. He grabs Kobayashi by the neck and begins to choke him, ignoring Kobayashi's attempts to fend him off with his knife. Despite Kobayashi's attacks, Sakamoto continues until Kobayashi passes out and drops to the ground.
Aftermath[]
After successfully defeating both Kobayashi and Higuchi, Kindaka retrieves the antidote from Kobayashi's body, using it to heal everyone from the poison. Meanwhile, Rion and Sakamoto engage in conversation. Rion remarks that Sakamoto must be worth a fortune if he managed to defeat both Higuchi, who had a bounty of 400,000,000, and Kobayashi, who had a bounty of 600,000,000.

Sakamoto quickly denies this notion. As Nagumo is called to take the antidote, Rion questions Sakamoto about his actions, asking if he's afraid of dying after bravely confronting Kobayashi despite being attacked with a knife. Sakamoto responds by stating it was the quickest way to kill him. Before the conversation can progress further, Uzuki interrupts, posing a philosophical question about weighing the lives of loved ones against the lives of others. Rion responds without hesitation, stating she would do whatever it takes to protect her niece, Akira, even if it meant sacrificing herself. This surprises Uzuki, who is interrupted by Kindaka announcing that they lack antidote for both himself and Uzuki.
Uzuki decides to search for more antidote, hoping to find additional vials. However, he receives a call from his older brother Asaki, who reveals that he has beaten up Gaku and threatens to kill Uzuki if he fails to complete their plan. Deep in thought, Uzuki purposefully drops the antidote, intending to ensure there isn't enough for both himself and Kindaka. However, just before the vial crashes to the ground, Kindaka, utilizing his immense speed, manages to grab it and return it to Uzuki. In doing so, Kindaka collapses due to the poison, slipping into a coma. Upon discovering what transpired, Rion instinctively dodges an attack from Uzuki, who then flees. Confused by the situation, Nagumo and Rion converse, but Rion abruptly stops Nagumo, declaring that she will pursue Uzuki since she is the fastest among them. With Rion hot on his heels, Uzuki's flight begins. Sakamoto concludes his flashback, remarking that it was the last time he saw Rion.
