Soichi Amo was a minor character during the Taro Sakamoto's Past Arc. He was the JAA chairman.
Appearance[]
Soichi Amo was a middle aged man with blonde hair, thick eyebrows, and a beard. He wore a plain white shirt with a neck tie and black trousers.
Personality[]
From what little is shown, Soichi Amo appeared to be considerate for his family. Despite Kindaka protecting his family, Soichi Amo felt his appearance could scare his daughter, Konomi.
Soichi also seemed to trust Asaki, despite Yotsumura's uneasiness around him.
History[]
Soichi was first seen re-assembling a cheap imitation of Nagant M1895 in order to ease his nervousness. Yotsumura reminded him it's almost time for the JAA General Meeting. The chairman worried about Kindaka safeguarding his daughter, fearing his face might scare her. As Yotsumura dismissed his concern, Asaki chimed in with his two cents. Once Yotsumura threatened to kill the latter for mentioning his son or the chairman's family out in the open, Soichi told him to relax. Yotsumura voiced his suspicion on Asaki, but Soichi didn't share his opinion.[2]
Yotsumura's worry was not reasonless, as there were conspirators among the high ranks of JAA planning to stage a coup. Soichi gave him the permission to find and kill any of them.[3]
Unfortunately, Soichi fell victim to the scheme, as Yotsumura was not by his side. His successor framed and banished the latter for the murder.[1]
