Sakamoto and Shin vs Mad Horiguchi is a fight that occurred between Sakamoto, Shin and Mad Horiguchi.
Prologue[]

Kashima takes over the lab.
In B1 of the Okutabi lab underground research facility, Sakamoto and Shin learn of Kashima's takeover of the lab six days earlier in their attempt to obtain new technology for themselves. They also learn that Kashima has placed a boss on each of the 5 floors between B1 to B5 inclusive. The B1 boss, Mad Horiguchi, comes after hearing the commotion, and Sakamoto and Shin quickly hide in the lockers.
Battle[]

Sakamoto punches Horiguchi but it lands on Shin.
Horiguchi enquires them about the noise, Shin exposes himself after Mad Horiguchi stabs the researcher who filled them in and threatens the others. Shin asks Horiguchi if he's the boss of the floor but Horiguchi stabs Shin and injects him with an electrode that sends electricity to scramble brain signals. Under his sleeves, he has a remote strapped to his arm that operates his equipment. He uses it to alter the speech signals, which makes him say everything in reverse. Shin asks him to switch him back. After struggling to get out from the past few minutes, Sakamoto finally comes out of the locker and punches Horiguchi.
He gets up and says he'd love to study Sakamoto. He adds that it's bad that he's in terrible shape that even he can get the jump on him. Sakamoto realizes he's been injected with the electrode. As he is about to punch him Horiguchi alters the signals that the brain uses to decide who the target of an attack is, and the punch gets landed on Shin. Sakamoto says he meant to hit the enemy, but his body didn't listen. Horiguchi laughs saying the science is wonderful. Sakamoto manages to punch Horiguchi by directing it to Shin.

Horiguchi gains muscle
Horiguchi then injects his arm and gains muscle mass in addition to enhanced strength. He attacks the duo but they evade it. Shin jumps to kick him and Horiguchi says some people never learn and switches the signal making him kick Sakamoto instead. Horiguchi injects in the leg and with enhanced speed he kicks Shin.
Sakamoto attacks him from behind but gets thrown away by Horiguchi altering the signal. Shin says that he just has to read his mind and figure out the on and off. Horiguchi says it's a stupid ability to read minds if he can't control the body and he doesn't understand why the chief has any interest in such a worthless ability and calls it lame to do so. Sakamoto says to Horiguchi that Shin's powers aren't stupid and he'll prove that to him. Horiguchi says it's hard to relate when there's a huge IQ gap and injects the contents from already punctured syringes on his shoulders which gives him huge muscles. Sakamoto explains his plan to Shin telepathically.
Horiguchi says there's no use in attacking him and they'll just end up hurting their partner. Sakamoto manages to hit Horiguchi multiple times. Horiguchi understands that Sakamoto is attacking all the targets at the same time making the attacks land even if he flips the switch. Shin uses his clairvoyance to dodge Sakamoto's hits. They defeat Horiguchi together.
Aftermath[]
The scientists removed the electrodes from both of them and thanked Shin for saving us given the way they treated him in the past. Shin says it's all good and he likes his abilities and where he's now. Shin says to Sakamoto that though he retired he's still excited that he managed to dodge his attacks.
He adds that with him being fat the punches pack even more weight. Sakamoto imagines killing Shin by stabbing him with a syringe in his throat, he tells him telepathically that there's no need to mention his weight.
