Kobayashi (
Appearance[]
Koba was a tall and slim man with sunken black eyes, short black hair and piercings in the place of eyebrows. He dons a black and gray striped cap alongside a black and white business suit.

Personality[]
Kobayashi is a calm man, who uses logic. He is cunning and does not hesitate to use underhanded methods to achieve his goals. Koba shows no qualms about killing others. He is also a sadist, enjoying the sight of watching others die slowly due to his poison. When things don't go his way, he gets fustrated and lashes out at people who insult him, ultimately leading to his demise.
Plot[]
Kobayashi is a hitman who is partnered with Higuchi during his mission to kidnap the JAA Chairman's family as hostages. He was likely contracted by Sei Asaki.
He seems to be on good terms with his partner Higuchi, who he jokes around with, poking fun at him for his virtue-collecting. He appears to know Higuchi's strength and trusts him.
During his mission, he is able to trap Kindaka, Nagumo, Rion, Uzuki and the Chairman's wife and daughter. Here he uses his poison gas to attempt to kill them, having no regard for the hostages needing to be alive. He is able to subdue Rion, Nagumo and Kindaka before being snuck-on and choked to death by Sakamoto.
Skills and Abilities[]
Overall Capabilites: Kobayashi is a competent assassin having both the speed and intellect to engage in combat with tough opponents. He is tasked with the mission of taking the chairman's family hostage, likely by Asaki, showing his capability. Despite his talents, Kobayashi opts for a silent but deadly method of killing - poison, which is shown to be highly effective. Higuchi believed Koba was enough to take on Kindaka, Rion and Nagumo, who he has seen engage in combat.
Poison Gas: Kobayashi is able to produce a poisonous gas inside his body which he breathes out. It is scentless, colourless and extremely painful. This gas is deadly and works faster depending on muscle movement. Due to heart rate increasing during moments of high adrenaline, the poison acts faster on people who panic or get excited during fights. Koba states that once administered it is guaranteed to kill saying "Poison is the ultimate killing method." Combined with enclosed spaces, the poison produced by Koba is one of the most deadly weapons in the series, easily subduing Kindaka, Rion, Nagumo and Uzuki.
Enhanced Speed: Koba is able to react to and dodge Sakamoto's attack even exiting the car he was in. He is also seen dodging bullets fired by Nagumo and Knives deflected by Rion's bullets. He is seen blocking Rion's attacks.
Enhanced Durability: Koba is seen withstanding stab wounds and cuts from Rion. He also survives being dragged through an entire concrete floor by Sakamoto.
Equipment[]
Assault Rifle: Koba carries an automatic rifle with him which he uses alongside his poison to force his opponents to dodge and move, causing the poison to act faster.
Knives: He also carries multiple knives with him which he uses in a similar way to his rifle by throwing them. He also uses the knives in close combat.
Antidote: Koba has the antidote to his poison gas with him in case it affects his allies. He does not need to use the antidote on himself.
