Haruma (ハルマ Haruma?) was an assassin working with Slur and a member of X's Organization. He was an orphan at the Al-Kamar Orphanage, a failed plan to create Order members.
He was a major antagonist in the Assassin Exhibition of the Century Arc.
Appearance[]
Haruma was a tall young man with slicked back blond hair, the painting of a pink swirl on his face and sunken black eyes that are always seen closed. He wears a white wrinkled t-shirt, black pants, boots, a pair of golden-yellow triangle-shaped earrings, as well a brown waist that has four holders for his balls.
Personality[]
Haruma was a relaxed and laidback man, calmly asking for a glass of mineral water when he walked into a diner, despite being surrounded by assassins, and was polite when asking for a JAA executive to come meet Slur. He also had a caring side, offering a stressed JAA executive a sports drink to calm down, and telling him to take deep breaths and to relax. He also made sure the executive wasn't harmed by taking away his gun so the others wouldn't immediately attack him. He encouraged Toramaru to keep up the good work and get better after she and Mafuyu sparred with Gaku, with the latter crying due to his loss.
Haruma believed that if he just killed people normally, it would be unfair due to his immense skill compared to others, as he said to Shin. He also says he doesn't feel good about one-sided slaughter, hence why he uses the rules of sport so he can sort of match Shin's level in their fight. He called this "killing sportsmanship". self-controld self-control, commenting that despite being so angry that he wants to kill Shin, he won't in the name of his beliefs towards killing.
Skills & Abilities[]
Overall Skill Level: Most of Haruma's "fighting style" consistd off of games involving balls, such as soccer or handball. He has also shown other events, such as track and field. Currently, he has shown volleyball, bowling, soccer, American football, handball, discus, and javelin. He uses this "fighting style" due to his beliefs about killing.
Enhanced Strength: Haruma was shown to being strong combatant, being able to easily pummel through multiple assassins, as well able to throw a cast-iron shotput ball into the air with relative ease. He was able to break out of iron chains without breaking a sweat. According to Shishiba, his strength is comparable to Hyo.[3]
Enhanced Durability: Haruma was able to take multiple point-blank minigun rounds to the head and upper body without a single injury. He was able to take a punch from Shin, who's punch was reinforced by his special gauntlet. And, after having his eardrums blown out by Shin, he was still able to fight (albeit losing), and walk away just fine, despite his balance being destroyed.
Equipment[]
Shotput Ball: Haruma carried four iron balls used for shotput, which he uses for multiple types of sports that use balls, which he says he is good at. Haruma uses the ball as a volleyball, throwing it up into the air and hitting it, which was able to tear through a diner and causing a large hole in a wall, along with blowing the upper body off of an assassin, all in the same movement.
Javelin: In the start of his fight against Shin, he demonstrated usage of a collapsible, javelin-shaped pole, which he then threw at him.
Trivia[]
